The world class Spring Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center started its journey in Dhaka
Spring Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center started its journey in Dhanmondi area of the capital with the promise of quality medical services. Vice Chancellor of Asian University for Women on Friday afternoon. Rubana Haque inaugurated this center through a formal event. The center was auspiciously inaugurated with the promise of providing essential services, expert medical consultation, health and wellness and world-class physiotherapy treatment under one roof at the private level.
While speaking as the chief guest Dr. Rubana Haque said that physiotherapy is a practical, scientific and safe treatment method of modern medical science. As in other parts of the world, the need and importance of physiotherapy treatment has increased in Bangladesh, thousands of people are taking physiotherapy treatment daily to recover from various diseases and become functional.
He also said, if we have good intentions with honest people, we all become enlightened, this center is a real proof of that. The institution will become a known and trusted name to the general public for better healthcare.
Professor Dr. Abdul Kader Sheikh, Senior Consultant of Evercare Hospital, Professor and Orthopedic Surgeon of Ibn Sina Medical College and Hospital also spoke on the occasion. Rafiq, prominent entrepreneur Khandaker Abdul Mateen and Mrs. Razia Begum. General Secretary of Bangladesh Open Source Network Munir Hasan and many others were present in this event.
Dr. Abu Mohammad Musa, Junior Consultant of Dhaka University Medical Center and Chief Consultant of Spring Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center, who was present at the event, said that efforts will be made to transform the center into a world standard and establish it as an international standard physiotherapy center. Caregiver training and services will be provided from now on apart from regular Neuro Medicine, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Prosthetics and Orthotics services.
Ibn Sina Medical College and Hospital Professor and Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Rafiq said that medicine alone cannot cure all diseases. Just as some cases require surgery in addition to medication, many diseases require physiotherapy treatment. Physiotherapy is very effective and modern treatment especially for age related problems, arthritic pain, sports injuries, osteoporotic pain, cervical and lumbar spondylosis, disc prolapse, osteo-arthritis, joint stiffness, plaster or post-surgical joint stiffnesses, paralysis due to stroke. From now on, all types of therapeutic treatment will be provided in this physiotherapy center with modern equipment, he said.
